Day 1 (lunch included)

Meet your driver at the airport and begin your adventure in Cappadocia

The first contact with the lunar landscape of Cappadocia is when you start seeing the rock formations beyond belief in Devrent Valley.

Visit Pasabag, where highly remarkable pillars can be seen in the middle of the vineyard, hence the place’s name, which means “The Pacha’s Vineyard.

Pacha means “General,” the military rank in Turkish, and it is a widespread nickname.

This site is also known as Monks Valley.

Lunch in Avanos, the centre of terracotta work of art since 3000 BC. and a traditional pottery workshop demonstration.

The next stop is Zelve Open Air Museum; once housed, one of the region’s largest communities is a fantastic cave town, honeycombed with dwellings, religious and secular chambers. Here, the Christians and Muslims lived together in perfect harmony until 1924.

Finally, head to Uchisar Castle, the region’s highest point, where we have a romantic view over Continue to panoramic viewpoint Esentepe, with a spectacular view over Göreme valley and Göreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses.

Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Cappadocia

Day 2 (breakfast – lunch)

Hot Air Balloon ride:

One hour before the sunrise, the meeting is at the balloon company’s headquarters with an exclusive breakfast saloon. The transfer from and to the hotel is included in the excursion.

After the pilots decide on the final arrangements and takeoff place, all passengers are transferred to one of the launch fields.

The guests will enjoy the balloons’ setup and inflation; once the balloons are ready, everyone will be invited to board the baskets.

After a safety briefing, ascend into the sky to fly for 75 minutes, gliding over the unique rock formations, hidden churches and uniques valleys of Cappadocia.

The crew is trained to the highest standard, and all pilots hold full commercial balloon pilot licenses.

After the flight transfer to the hotel for breakfast

After breakfast visit one of the largest and deepest underground cities of Cappadocia, Derinkuyu and the deepest gorge in the region Ihlara Valley.

Walking in Ihlara Canyon, known in ancient times as Peristrema, along the Melendiz River up to Belisirma village.

Rock-cut churches spread across the wild plantation surprise you with their successfully painted representations from the Bible.

Lunch at the local restaurant in Belisirma by the river.

Continue to Selime, a village with cave houses at the end of the Canyon.

Return to the hotel.
